Foz de Iguaçu
 One of Brazil's most visited tourist spots, Foz do Iguacu waterfalls is a must-see for most visitors. The falls are over 3 km wide and 80 meters high, which makes them wider than Victoria falls and higher than Niagara falls. The falls are divided between Brazil and Argentina and to see them properly you must visit both sides. From the Brazilian side the overall view and tourist infra-structure is better, while from the Argentine side you can get closer to the action, especially the Devil's Throat, in the shape of a horseshoe. If you have the cash you can take a seven-minute helicopter ride over the falls. Also worth a visit is the nearby Itaipu dam, the world's largest hydroelectric plant that supplies all of Paraguay's and most of Southern Brazil's electricity needs. Also worth a visit is the gigantic park, Parque Nacional do Iguacu, one of Brazil's largest, with over 500 species of animal and bird life.
