Is there anything big going on in SP for the next couple of weeks?
Direct flights to Canada are completely booked up for two solid weeks…all flights are oversold.
    What gives?

Perhaps some of it might have to do with the Toronto Film Festival.

‘thought about that too but direct AC flights from Buenos Aires and Santiago are wide open. Maybe there’s a GAP shirt sale going on up there.

Easier to cross the Canadian Border into the US during summer. And easier to get a Canadian Tourist Visa.
The Expat Brazilian Community in Missussouga ON is huge.
Brazilians could get their trinkets cheaper in Orlando FL.
And being poor at math , Brazilians are looking at better exchange rates on the Canadian Dollar, only failing to account for the GST rates in Canada.
US Customs and Immigration depts are cracking down on illegal immigration.

I think you mean Mississauga ON. I have never encountered a Brasilian there, but lots in the city of Toronto. I’m not saying you are wrong, just my experience.

I was there once, my uncle’s funeral. At that time the Catholic Priest at the church was Brazilian.
