Our official US representatives are coming down to grace us with their presence. US citizens in Curitiba are cordially invited to all go out for dinner together.

If you aren’t already a member of the Curitiba Expat group, please join if you are so inclined and keep updated about stuff like this, otherwise msg me and RSVP. This dinner will be somewhere in the Batel/Agua Verde area, and I will share location, etc privately.

Will they bring the same dogs and ponies this time, or will there be different ones?

    LOL

I can only hope we have the same crazy turnout as that particular show. I met several people at that event who turned out to be long-term friends. This particular event, thanks to the magic of social media, is turning into a cat-herding rodeo.

I’ve always wanted to see cat herding! Is Condi going to make a surprise appearance as one of the ‘official representatives’?! Now thatwould be a show worth attending!!!

i would think herding puppies would be similar…… you know a bit about that!

Condi Rice is one of these people who I hold out hope she would be an interesting person to have dinner with. God knows she is smart and perceptive, but I wonder if that would take precedence over natural cold-blooded Vulcan tendencies.

chance to meet the officials, raise questions, schmooze. for the consular staff, this is likely a foray out into the field pre-olympics to get a look at infrastructure and to talk to local tourism departments.
