Elton John. Now The Cure. Doesn’t everyone recognize by now that their penultimate tour to Brasil is broadcasting their death knell?

We had Deep Purple in Rio a few years ago. I think only one of guys had actually played in the original band. It’s a shame the Bee Gees aren’t around as they would be queuing around the corner for those guys.

Ok, I admit I am not so bright, Sven, do you mean that Art is in the eye of the beholder or something else?

Wow Sven! I thought the Dutch were supposedly drinking champions and could hold their liquor!? But to take a photo of your upchuck on the floor, the result of too much revelry last night, and now post it here?!? How crude and primitive of you! That’s even more vile than the toilet pic with the heart-shaped ‘turd’.
I think I just might have to click the report button.

wimpy red. exactly. Nothing wrong with them but nothing right either. I am in my mid 30’s and hadn’t thought about them since mabye 1988 until I came to Brzzerland. I think they had one or two hits in the USofA in the 80’s but here they are king sh_t.

My deepest apologies to Mr Sven and Mr Rat. I will work to fix that darn iPone spell-correct glitch immediately! Sven, you should also be able do the same with yours, so things don’t always appear as “wimpy.” Kitten2013-03-30 17:39:27

I made my first post from my iPhone 5 yesterday, felt it was quite an accomplishment given my big fingers and those small keys.
I’m amazed watching teens literally speed type on those things..

Darn it all!! I was served a warning following the Holy Rat’s annual Passover only because I failed to mark my keyboards with the blood of a slaughtered spring lamb. Upon seeing this, the spirit of the Rat indeed failed to pass me over, and rather, stopped to severely warn me.

I stand corrected Sven. Simply Red’s most recent performance was really kewl.

Black Sabbath have just announced dates in Brazil. What I find extraordinary is that it’s headline news in the media and treated like a blessing in the lives of the people.

Talk about reincarnations! I figured all the members of that band died years ago! Maybe while in Brasil they’ll make a stop at this forum, as the latest troll-du-jour….

Can we be so smug? £95 to see the Rolling Stones in a park, and they sold out in 5 minutes (yes I would still like to go)
Not English…but seeing an advert for Seal playing in Recife was quite a surprise… as was Coolio in Brasilia (I was a week late for that one…gutted)

Now I think about it, I think I saw a Brazilian bar showing a Simply Red documentary. Mick Hucknall describing how he went from simple Mancunian beginnings to bedding beautiful women all over the world. Nearly spat out my Skol
Being dead didn’t stop Elvis ‘playing’ Brasilia, so there’s hope for Coolio yet when he actually does die:
