I thought it would be interesting to see what is used in other languages to represent "Mr Example", or as we say here, Fulano de Tal. (not necessarily unidentified dead, which is sort of a different can of worms).
I am curious, is Ms de Tal Fulana? Fiona? Fofinha?
In the US it is "John Doe" for masculine and "Jane Doe" for the feminine, or often "John Q Public" or "Jane Q Public".
In Japanese you could say OO OO-san (for men) or OO OOko-san (for women)... (Maru Maru san or Maru Maruko san). (Maru stands in for "blank" in Japanese.)

Some times we use El hijo de Merlin, to call some one who's lost. For example if you dont know what we are talking about we will say.
3 casas is more lost that Merlin Son's
Apperantly Merlin a famous wizard never had a son... thats why "someone" is lost...
thats a equivalent for Fulano de Tal, when that person is lost...
It could be by directions or topic... or even when u dont know what you are doing...

Sultano... Its used for a Fulano de Tal in Third person... Something like Fulano and Sultano, He and the other....
Similar to Beltrano and Sicrano if the are used like Sultano.

In England we say Joe Bloggs as a way of describing an unidentifiable person. 'Geezers' in London call someone they don't know 'John' as in ''ello John, got a new mo'or' Translates as; 'Hello person whose name I don't know, have you got a new car?'.
