Have you read Fly Fishing by JR Hartley? its a sterling read.. Just kidding. It depends on what sort of books you like to read, Thrillers, Detective novels, love fiction, fact. Throw us a bone here please.. |

the "politicamente incorreta" is really funny. the 1808, 1822 series are good. Paulo Coelho, well, i hope you like him better than i did. I'm currently reading Guimarães Rosa, who I love dearly, Fernando Pessoa, who writes really annoying poetry, and Isabel Allende, which was really cheap in the new bookstore. and don't be surprised how much the used ones cost-- not much cheaper. ------------- |

Thanks for all the great suggestions! One of my kids came down with a bug so I wasnt able to get to the book store this week, but I did write a few of those titles down and will look when I go on Monday.
The only thing Ive read by Paulo Coelho is The Alchemist and I thought it was decent. Will give another one of his books a try if its cheap enough. |

I'll check out the banca next time I'm out by myself. I almost never stop there because I usually have the kids with me, and theres kind of a lot of skin mags at eye level. Not that I'm against porn in general, I just dont want to have to explain to the preschoolers why the naked lady is spread across the motorcycle...again.  Same thing with the knockoff DVD guys that are on every corner...Pica-Pau and hard core anal should never be within a foot of each other
