I too have visited Joao Pessoa, really nice place, depending what you are looking for. I also like Natal, depending where you go. Both have much less crime than the big cities like Sao Paulo and Rio and Recife. A little north of Natal you can find a real paradise that is probably about to be spoiled by construction - a village called Maracajaú. beautiful beaches, fishing, surfing, sailboarding, and diving. Not far out of Natal, but authentic Brasil.

RE: SAO PAULO.............

Does anybody know where I can get a detailed city street map of SP? I'm planning a trip down there in May and wanna plan everything in advance. What street map do the locals in SP use? I can't seem to find anything worthwhile at the bookstores here in Toronto. Any info would be appreciated!

Canadian 40 again I ask what kind of work are you looking for in Joao Pessoa ? What field and or area are you best in ? What do you do here or in Canada ? Are you able and open to a business opportunity ? If so again in what field ?
