Also Balcao, which got a review on this site at one stage. Its on the road one down from Reboucas (Dr. something Mello), no.150. Mainly a 30+ crowd, great food, and excellent decor. Oh, and further down that street is Chakras, a rather swanky resaturant, but with a great (and somewhat hidden) back room-cum-bar of elaborate Persian decor, good music (on Tuesdays at least - don't know about other nights) and good vibe. |

Russ, I'll continue to insist on O'Malleys, because of the several rooms it has and the excellent live rock music. One or two rooms just for snooker. An upstairs swanky dance floor. Another all-wood bar-and-music stage room. etc. The only downside is all these guys speaking English hee hee.

Thanks Kita!
LJ, I guess there's merit in a bar/pub crawl. Although ideally starting uphill and working down
Then catching a bus back to Av. Paulista at the end!I see that the St. Patrick Day preparations have started. I'm sure I must have been to All Black at some stage as there was a U2 cover band playing before, and not too bad either.

Yes. What Italian places don't have football shirts hanging from the ceiling? Have you seen the strange restaurant Vicco do Scugnizzo, with all the laundry hanging all over the place and out the windows too |
