I think a Brazilian lawyers are more dishonest than banks...

A tad harsh - it's the individual rogue lawyers who are dishonest and should be avoided - dealing with lawyer firms should be fine. There's a code of conduct published by the OAB regarding lawyers - if they adhere to this code, no problem:
