In general, no!

I think in the last six months I have contacted and sent my resume to every headhunter in Brazil.  They aren't nearly as aggressive as the ones in the US or UK.
You are better off contacting the HR departments of each company you have an interest.

Finding a job in Brazil is truly a full time job in itself...
(and forget it if you don't already have a perm visa and language-few if any will sponsor you unless you work for them in the US first)
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave with a well preserved body, but to skid in sideways at a high rate of speed, drink in one hand, totally worn out shouting, "Whoa, what a ride"!

LOL ha ha ha
When I first read "headhunter" I thought the above guy was looking for a "hitman" job.
When I looked it up, it turned up to mean a personnel recruiter.

PS: forget about finding a job in brazil. When I learned Civil engineers in Brazil earned 690 euros/month, I discarded the possibility of seeking a qualified job in Brazil.
Rather than seeking job in Brazil, opt for an expatriation contract if you're a highly educated professional working for a western multinational, or if you have a capital, think about investing there. Just forget about working for a Brazilian company, even medical doctors earn just 1000 euros/month.

That rate might be for some engineers but I have personally seen flat rates of R$3750 a month. In Rio not so long back they were complaining about the shortage of engineers despite salaries of nearly R$10000 (R$9960 actually)

Is your 690 euros for graduates?

However, despite these figures, I think your advice helps people widen their optionsClap

People should be aware of that before leaving their well paid job in the Us or europe and embarking in Brazil.
The only ones in Brazil who earn 10.000R$ and more, are politicians and business people.

(example: a deputy has a  salary of 40.000R$/month, so if you get the Brazilian citizenship, think about joining a political party Wink)

Thanks Vario I have looked but what you have shown me is only a small cross section of the salaries that could be earned. Its not that I havent looked. Nor is it that I dont have the experience. I once raised a post called "salaries the old chestnut". It was through that post that  I found many links to civil engineering institutions and to the salaries they paid. Whether you like it or not the salaries are there.

Without engaging in Forum tennis, I think you have adequetly put your point and I have put mine. Success in your other posts, my good man, focus your energy and timeClapLOL

Those salaries seem low because it's talking about some little backwater in Ceara, where it probably represents a decent lifestyle.

Saturday is a working 1/2 day for us peons ... so much that you know of the labor market here in Brazil.
The paste in your post was for concursado positions with the municipal government of a city of 50k in the NE state of Ceara. I say positions because they can require little in terms of work and are very hard to loose. The medico for example will most likely have a private practice as well as a job at a local hospital. It used to be, might still be, that if it was a state hospital he could rack up another pension. The engineer will without a doubt have a private firm of some type in addition to his public employment.
