I've never tried the door method.  Does it work well?  Would it work on beer bottles?  My bottle opener is missing too....

What is the word for corkscrew?  My in-law's empregada was totally baffled when I pointed to the wine bottle and asked for the the ferragem para abrir!  I am guessing that the fact that she had never encountered a bottle of wine was not helping my bad Portuguese!

I am allergic to the nightshade family, so mine usually have mushrooms, olives, broccoli, heart of palm, cheese, garlic, carrots, sweet potato...  Today I made some with queijo minas melted on the top that was pretty tastey.  And my husband made one with dried tomato and rucula (I didn't eat that one).  I make my crust with wheat germ, so it's kinda heavy.

And in the final de contas, I didn't end up using a rolling pin because I was too hungry to wait for a reply first off, and then found that my neighbors had gone out.  Oh well, so it made my crusts much thicker than usual.  Still good.  Ju ate only the crust edges off several calzones.

Someone would have returned it.   Most things he throws (except natural things, like rocks, seeds, and leaves) get poked through the net by someone going by.  The condo is aware of our little slingshot problem and has been very understanding.
