There are tons of JP posts in the archives and recent articles on the home page. Most all rave reviews...

You can search - CAPTBILL - username - he's JP biggest booster, and adds a word at most inquiries. I must say all the talk has got me interested in visiting but it happens to be the farthest capital, save Natal, from where I am.

LOL I have just sent Captbill an e-mail as I saw one of his posts doing the search you recommended
I have found some threads but no articles as yet but I need to have a good look at the search function and maybe I can search for articles about it.
Our interest in this place came from a friend of my wife’s who is a journalist in Sao Paulo and says it is the up and coming city, so now we are looking at when to go and visit, as I have mentioned in a different thread my wife thinks she has more chance of getting a job in South Brazil but I think we need to go and look at Joao Pessoa as from what I'm reading about it on the web it sounds to good to be true and fortunately she wants to have a look as well

Yep, I have got it on my top 5 cities to settle list too so will definitely be checking it out to to see if it lives up to the hype. Until recently I had heard a lot more about Recife and Fortaleza - but as a place to live in the north east JP sounds hard to beat. I dont know if it can beat the infrastracture, etc in the south though, if that is what is important to you. Another consideration for my wife is proximity to family in Rio, though also important to me but from different perspective

Where are you at Dunga and what do you think of the place you are?

In SW Mato Grosso. It's rural, mostly ranch land. Easy living. I've been here almost twenty years, mostly part-time. We have seen great advances...HA, HA...
