I liked the one disc I've heard (Ao Vivo). She covers a lot of popular songs and she's expanded her fanbase with the songs for the novelas. 
 
There are so many great women singers of Brazilian music, back to Clementina de Jesus and Yvonne Lara da Costa at the beginning of the age of recordings, or even before. We'll see if she eventually earns her place in the pantheon.

She has a very dodgy "cover" album in whats meant to be english, worth a listen for the craic. Her attempt at the cranberries ode to my family is hilarious!
