Seeking an Individual from: USA
MeridianEaton Global is a cross-cultural training and consulting company that prepares employees to successfully relocate to international assignments, conduct business overseas, and work as a part of multinational teams. Through intensive, specifically tailored cultural training and counseling, clients learn the skills to adapt to new social situations and business practices, and shape their attitudes and expectations in order to thrive in their new environment. Trainings are conducted by our trainers/consultants who serve as culture generalists. In addition to our own trainers, we use Country Specialists in all of our trainings to serve as cultural experts for their respective countries.
A Country Specialist should be a national of the targeted country who has background knowledge and professional experience in a specific industry, or someone who has recently returned from an assignment in that region. Ideally the Country Specialist will have lived/worked in the target country within the last two years. We generally work with individuals from finance, engineering, management, legal, and general business backgrounds.
We are currently conducting a search for a National from USA who:
· Has recent living and/or work experience in USA
· Is now living in or can travel to Santa Barbara, Brazil
· Is at a graduate level or above
· Has high level experience in management/business or financial industry
The Training will be held on October 5, 2006. Country Specialists are paid $200 for the day. If you are interested in working with us, please send an updated resume to Addie Gillespie at program coordinator@eatonconsultinggroup.com or via fax at 617-716-0301.
A Country Specialist is not required to prepare a formal presentation, but is expected to provide anecdotal cultural/business specific advice and insight to the client throughout the training. For example, the trainer may discuss differences in communication style between cultures and ask the Country Specialist to describe their experiences in business or social situations where differing communication styles were an issue.
We have worked with students, professionals, and government officials from a variety of countries throughout the world. Country Specialists play an important role in facilitating the introduction to the cultural norms of their country/region, and in return gain valuable insight into cross-cultural training and consulting and an opportunity to meet potential employers in their home country.
Individuals interested in serving as Country Specialists for future training programs can mail in their resumes or send them to us via fax or e-mail. I will keep resumes on file and contact potential candidates when the appropriate training opportunity arises. I look forward to hearing from you.
