Airlines usually don't care as long as you have a roundtrip ticket. If PF doesn't accept you in, you already have a paid ticket home that the airline is responsible for. When I did my extension recently the girl at PF didn't even ask to see a return ticket either. No one really cares the exact date, as long as you have a return ticket paid for in my experience.
