Why does everyone suddenly want to have an anchor baby in Brazil? Giving birth after carrying to term is not an emergency health issue and is NOT covered by health insurance. Unless you give birth 2 months early, you have no coverage. The good news is that giving birth through SUS is totally free. |

I can confirm what Sven says, but if you are really going to go with SUS, make some good contacts at the hospital and for goodness sakes, chose the best SUS hospital you can find!

Hello ToVoltando,
Could you clear up a part of your inbox? When I try to send you a PM it bounces because of it. I would like to contact you on a personal matter. Thanks! Mark
