Hi everyone,

A friend of mine from Peru is coming to visit next weekend and it will be his first time in Brazil.  I am trying to set up a list of things for him to do while I am at work and then what we can do at night and on the weekend.

He likes music, so I was thinking to take him to a bar/club/lounge for some drinks and beer where we can listen to some live Brazilian music.  I am still new here in the city and don't really know what to do/where to go still myself!

Anyone have some thoughts/ideas?  I am thinking typical stuff...bossa nova, axe, etc.  Seems to me that all the places i have passed by are always playing American stuff.
