Sven, having once received a warning from the moderator because of my reactions to that ignorant and now defunct man, Ray, I think I know how you feel: indignant. And I should add that I didn’t swear at Ray but rather hassle that provocateur to the point when he went crying to the moderator. I decided to continue simply because although, unlike you, I have nothing to offer, I simply enjoy the banter in this God forsaken country. As a lawyer you will have to develop thick skin when, in future, circumstances will contrive to weigh the pain of blind injustice on both you and your clients; what is done cannot be undone – move on – come back. Perhaps SteelRat will reinstate your account soon because the point has been well made.

Really, so sven mouthed off to a troll, a guy who has made countless accounts, never contributes anything, and only seeks to antagonize GF, sven and others here.

That is a crazy spineless illogical way to enforce rules. You would rather get drive off a guy who contributes a great deal of info and time in his posts than keep him?

Maybe you should look into blocking the ip address of cara/ray/kosmos/joawhatever/amsterdam to solve the problem.

If that is so, then why don't people that use several logins to provoke others get banned.

I have seen tons of posters that I should have been banned for things a lot worse than using the word POOP.

This used to be a great forum, but recent banning of long standing members that where provoked by newbies has made this forum as it is now. It seems the provokers are winning and the moderator does nothing about that, on the contrary, it bans/suspends valuable members.

Oh yes, Ray. It took a lot more than the mention of POOP for him to get banned. Ray was allowed to harass me and others, personally, for months, under several nicks.

The suggestion of other mods is a great one. That solves the problem right there. SR comes along in the middle of the night, sweeps through the forum meting out punishment in one sweep. perhaps, you need some help? Plenty of active users who don't take part in the normal forum bickering to choose from.....

Yup, this forum needs more mods.
That way the trolls can be dealt with quickly.

Another thing as to modding, deleting posts is a crappy way to mod.
It is better to add a comment on the offensive post giving a warning.

Me for example, I have no idea why I was suspended. Same goes for some other "ex" members that got suspended/banned.

It's like this is some kind of evangelical forum. Sortof like this new project of law:
