Looks good. Hope you add more to it.

Once you get tapped out on Brazilian, maybe you can add some other stuff. I'm terrible on the food-creativity part, but I can follow a recipe.

A good section to add to the blog would be "Eat like a Gringo in Brazil." I have been in Brazil for a year now and am really bored with the food. I cook at home most of the time but often it's difficult to track down the ingredients that I need.

i will have to get on my other account and find my bookmarked Brazuka pages, there are a few that you might find inspirational. One especially that is run by a food scientist and she has some really interesting stuff.

NICB, I think I should do that. We were talking about something similar in my house last week that I made peanut butter fudge, german whole rye bread, sauerkraut, japanese pickles, chinese and thai dishes, gooey cinnamon buns and then broa de fubá and moqueca. I really should blog this stuff.

Yeah once I go through all of my must post recipes I'll start adding in gringo recipes made in Brazil. I went through a phase as well where I was bored with Brazilian food and started making all my American favorites at home... but I left that phase and started getting into Brazilian cooking. If you get into it, you can tweak it to however you like it and you will start to enjoy it. I got tired of eating the way my mother and father in law make everything here so I started making it myself with different amounts of this and that... DEF. less salt and oil in everything. Today I put up a post about Chicken in Saffron sauce. One of my favorite dishes here. SOOO good.

I am telling you. This site needs a food section in the forum. How can there not be a section about food? It's right up there with learning Portuguese!

I could. I would need to double check what Brazilian beer is available to those in other countries.... I could just kind of describe the basic taste and feel of the beer here and how it's served... I quit drinking over a year ago (which has been super easy being here)so I'm not going to be talking about it as passionately as I would have at one time...
