By the sounds of it looks like he`s infatuated with Sponge and want to maybe hook up with him.
Sounds like Ray`s infatuation with Sven. Could it be????LOL

Glad you liked it.

Angri

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
          A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
          They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
          In such a jocund company:
          I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
          Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
          And dances with the daffodils.

I dedicate this to you Angri LOL

This site should have stickies, or some kind of FAQ. But anyway, I found this in about 5 minutes of searching this morning. I was looking for the size of the módulos and what kind of restrictions there are on foreigners.

http://www.incra.gov.br/index.php/estrutura-fundiaria/regularizacao-fundiaria/aquisicaode-terras-por-estrangeiros/file/1105-perguntas-e-respostas-aquisicao-de-imoveis-rurais-por-estrangeiros

Ummm.. I'm not apt to hooking up with anybody.

Amsterdam - I haven't been sick because of work; there has been a virus circulating around this parts. The temperature changing every day (up - down - up - down) hasn't helped either. About the granjas, usually in these parts you have a parceria with an abatedouro and they provide the chicken feed. Still, there're a lot of other inputs that are not provided.

This agricultuaral stuff is no joke. I wouldn't want to have anything that's too big (i.e, have a large-scale swine operation) because the producer is at the whims of the market price.

This is always a problem too:

That's interesting, Spongebob. Thanks for sharing.

I went on the Incra site and learned that I can buy rural land up to 15 hectares (150000 m2) or more depending on the definition of the Módulo de Exploração Indefinida in the municipality without the need for a permission.

Tbird and Sponge, before you guys, or anyone else, decide to buy some rural property, be sure to take a look at the Codigo Florestal, and some of the specific items you'll have to adhere to.

Official version

Cliff Notes version

This law has been batted back and forth all during Lula's administration, but it appears Dilma intends to finally have this a done deal.  She's taking the middle ground, not capitulating to environmentalists, or landowners.

The link will take you to the provisional law, effective May 25 of this year.  The legislative branch had 60 days to review it, but of course, they're all on holiday for all of this month, so those 60 days will be extended to the end of August....
