I am planning to take a beach vacation in July and want to go to the northeast. I'd like to visit the beach during the day and go to clubs at night. Where would be the best place to do this that is also not to crowded? Fortaleza? Maceio? Thanks

July is the month with the worst climate in the NE. Right now we are only getting 2 or 3 days of sun a week and lots of rain and dark cloud. If you left it to mid august or early september you would be assured a lot better weather. A lot of the nightclubs/businesses here are only open at weekends now until august due to how dead it is. hope this helps. |

Check out the beaches in Pará. This time of year, it is dry season up there and hot hot hot. There are some nice beaches in Salinópolis, Mosqueiro (agua doce), Santarém (agua doce), Ilha de Marajó, etc.
