I am moving to Sao Paulo the end of July to train and TEFL for 6 months.
A complete life change (crisis?) I am very excited and scared, but hey. I am doing it!
I've been reading your posts for a while and as I have now decided to leave the job, home and grown up son behind and have an adventure, chatting with other people from/in Brazil would ease my nerves!! lol

Hey Tracey, big move, congrats!
Out of curiosity, what TEFL program are you training? I am in the process of writing a guide about teaching English on my blog and would be curious about what program you are going with 
That is a huge leap and change of scenery, and I would say that we need to shake things up a bit every once in a while. |

Just wondering TV, how does one make vegetarian feijoada. The essence of the dish is in the pig tail, ears, feet and sausage. Do you replace them with stinky tofu or do you serve just the beans?

welcome tracey. sven, stinky tofu in anything but stir fried green veggies is basically a recipe for disaster... but some liquid smoke makes your feijoada taste vaguely bacon-y. Personally i have always hated feijoada so don't bother. |
