Anyone got any good ideas about making Bauru in the UK, or US even.
Have tried different methods using large baps and grill, not quite the same. Suggestions anybody and don't be rude.

Hi Braza,
Thanks for that. Should have pointed out that I have BR wife and have eaten bauru many times. We have been trying to make it here in UK, not quite the same though. Did read the history of bauru on wikipedia and found out the bauru we were eating in BR was not the traditional one anyway. Still its fun experimenting with different things and techniques.

That' s probably because you have real Gouda, other cheese and decent pickles in the UK.
