   Do I need to have investment visa in order to be partner in a limitada? 

What I have understood is that for each foreigner that the company hires we need 2 brazilians hired, can I hire myself and get working visa within my own company?

	yes you could, and go to jail, directly to jail, do not pass go and collect 200 dollars...

	You don't need an investment visa to invest in an Ltda. Whether you'll get a work visa to work in your Ltda remains to be seen. What does the company do?

	Hmmm...why not start an e-commerce in a tax-free jurisdiction and be partners there? But if it's to get into the country, then just ignore my suggestion :)
