In all aspect Is this something that I would be able to handle with out a lot of headaces? If so can anyone provide me with the correct course of action to take? If so I be very greatful for any input!

Wait while I go find my telepathy helmet. That way I will easily be able to see what category of permanencia application your are referring to.

We do plan on getting  This time I return Home.

Although there is nothing wrong with paying someone for his services (R$ 3500 or so?), filing for permanent residency based on a healthy baby girl with Brazilian nationality is esier than opening a bank account.

Just go to the PF with your consularized and transated documents (actually just one, your birth cert) a consular declaration you are actually inscribed here, a water bill and your childs birth cert to the Policia Federal in Macaé.

Your Birth cert must also be legalized by the consulate.

The police report is technically not necessary for a visa based on a child.
