Hi my name is Phelipe and I live in Sao Jose dos Campos, Sao Paulo. I was born in the US and lived there until I was 13 and then moved to Brazil because of my family's financial situation. Im 16 Years old and sometimes I feel very lonely because I have no one to talk to. =/ Lucky for me, I found this forum full of people just like me! =D Are there any of you guys out there? =S

Hang in there, Phelipe

My family situation was similar, I was born in the US, and we moved back to Rio when I was 8 because my mother missed her family. It was a big change, especially getting used to portuguese and the way things are done in Brazil

But trust me, it will get easier. You will begin to make friends in Brazil through school, through family, and within a few years, you'll start to think in Portuguese as well, which will make things much easier

There should be a group in your area for people trying to practice their english, probably Americans teaching English as a second language. Contact the consolate or the ESL organization to see where they meet

Your parents have given you an amazing opportunity to have a leg in two different countries, something you may only appreciate later on.

Good luck. You seem very outgoing and well spoken, you should have no troubles!
