Yes, Brazil was a Fascist state (Estado Novo) in fear of their large northern neighbour.

Well, the swastika isn't even a Nazi simbol. It's a simbol from the hindu religion it basically means something like "eternity".

The iron eagle is the traditional german eagle.

The SS simbol is an ancient rune that means victory.

So what "nazi" symbols would that be?

I meant to refer to the swastika and any anti-Jewish propaganda. Sure, it is originally a holy symbol, but if many people don't know that now, imagine by then, when most people didn't even have a crappy TV or the internet to do a quick research.

But none of this matters, anyway. What matters is that the former nazi people that arrived to these colonies and buried these symbols were ashamed of them, but buried them instead of destroying them. That's what is really puzzling.

As I mentioned before, I don't agree to say that Brazil was a full-blown Facist state by then. There was no strong policy regarding eugenics, or actively declaring war against neighboring countries, or any organized physical education program related to facism. If anything, it had traces of facism, but facism was not fully developed.

Well how could there be? most Brazilians are immigrants themselves.

But Brazil was actually on the side of the axis at the beginning, they changed because the nazis started attacking their shipping.

Hitler wasnt really interested in ugenics either, he just wanted to create his clone army that did what he told them to do, no other reason, i think that was a nice excuse to do that, he used afew masking techniques like that to fool the german people, sadly they lapped it all up.
Later on Hitler had Muslim SS troops called the Hanschar, hardly Germanic blond blue eyed anglo saxons now.

Brazil was quasi fascism and it still is, nothing really has changed.

I also forgot to mention the Japanese also in Brazil, remember Japanese Imperialism also Fascist.

Ermmm, well... the bulk of the Japanese that came to Brasil did so a little over 100 years ago.  Their arrival was precipitated by two events, the abolishment of slavery in Brasil, and the end of a feudal society in Japan.  Poverty in the rural areas of Japan caused people to seek a better life elsewhere, via emigration.  Because they no longer had slaves as a commodity, the coffee plantations had a shortage of laborers.  The governments of Japan and Brasil signed a treaty permitting Japanese migration to Brasil in the early 1900's, waaaay before Fascism had even begun to incubate in the Land of the Rising Sun.

It is also erroneously believed by many that the Germans in the south of Brasil arrived as Nazis seeking refuge.  Yet actually, the principal wave of German migration to Brasil occurred in the late 1800's.

What you cant find on Wiki is difficult for you to contest isnt it Dude..LOL

Its still quasi fascism from where ever the fascists came unless you can try to prove that wrong of course, do a search on Wiki, it might give you some answers.

 LOL
