I came to Brasil almost 6 months ago, with a tourist visa, extend it to last 3 more months, 1 month ago I got married, and went to federal police to ask for visa. I had all necessary documents from my country, so all is good. Police start process. They gave me some paper, about it, but they say, Foreigners ID I can get just after 6 months, so I can go to work ministry, and ask for work book with a protocol copy. But in work ministry they  say, police must give me some other paper, we come back to police, police say, they dont need to give any more papers...
Anybody know that to do?

Get the SINCRE print out from the Policia Federal.
Takes about a week to get.
Your work book will have to be renewed every 180 days and before it expires you will have to get another SINCRE print out.
When you get the CIE (foreigners ID card) you will have to renew your work book again but this time it will have the same validity as your CIE (9 years).

I got my carteria the same day.  All you're supposed to need is the protocolo.

Well, I didn't.
I had to show the SINCRE print out.

Guys, I have a question for you.
If I arrived here with tourist visa, and apply for permanency here after. And process will take 6 month, but my tourist visa will expire soon. I am okay to stay in Brasil?
And if I want to leave a country for awhile, I can come back easy? Because in my passport I have just my tourist visa!

If you have applied for your perminacia and the PF have accepted all your documentation then given you the protocolo for your application then yes you can stay.  And yes you can leave and come back but you need to advise the FP that you will be out of the country.  Just need the protocolo still with a valid date to be presented with your passport when you come back.

Guys, I was browsing in forums, and got confused.
Actually I applied for permanency. Not for CIE.
Does it means I dont have my RNE number yet, and I can not get SINCRE printout?

When the permanency is approved and published you apply for the CIE and get the RNE number (the real one, not the temporary one) and about a week later you can get the SINCRE printout and then get the work book.

If nothing shows up don't be worried.
Have the Policia Federal visited you at home yet?
