There was no slander intended, we just have a drama king/queen, which ever is preferred....

Gay, as an adjective, has several meanings, none with intended consequence...

1 (of a person, esp. a man) homosexual: that friend of yours, is he gay?
• relating to or used by homosexuals: feminist, black, and gay perspectives.
2 lighthearted and carefree: Nan had a gay disposition and a very pretty face.
• brightly colored; showy; brilliant: a gay profusion of purple and pink sweet peas.
3 informal foolish; stupid: making students wait for the light is kind of a gay rule.

Albeit the definition is obvious, people can twist and concur their own interpretations. Perhaps 'Super-Gay' meant that it is 'super-delightful' you find annoyance in spending R$1.60 on a page of your hard earned money..

In either case there is no shame in being disruptive 3casas, it's just who you are as a person. I take no offense in your qualities!

Sven, you should have called the PF in MG.
They told my wife I only needed the information page and that they will verify the passport. I still spent R$ 70 on all the other crap copies.

this is easily the stupidest thing you have ever said. I mostly agree with your point about the word "gay" being used and that you didn't intend to offend anyone. But you don't get to decide how/when people are offended...the world doesn't work this way.

I never made the decision, I merely maintained my poise and returned fire! I was unfairly excluded into some predicament based on false assumptions. And through previous experience under which circumstantially is almost identical on her part in misjudging a situation, I will stand tall over my computer! lol

You on the other hand appear off base in thinking I will decide who is offended. The fact is I do not care, I'm just clarifying my part and highlighting the stupidity of the other party. Am I not entitled to that? Again, you have no place caring either, but I appreciate you joining in there's always room for one more..

Man THAT was long ago. It's R$ 5,78 per page. I payed R$ 160 for a whole passport

I payed R$ 2,80 15 years ago per page when I applied for my permanent visa. At that time I had a business passport (twice the number of pages)

1. what the f**k does "excluded into" mean?
2. you mentioned your intent or lack there of offending people as being relevant. my point is that intent plays no part.
3. I was agreeing with you dipsh*t. I use gay the same way..not even thinking how it refers to someone's sexuality. but if someone says that i should stop/have offended them, i stop and apologize.
4. and i waited posted bc your assessment of 3casas is off

oh, speaking of super-gay* I waited 2.5 hrs at Banco do Brasil to sign some papers today.

Doesn't really matter, here they want the whole f**king passport and the info page + the page of the permanent visa in the old passport (lucky me that I save my old passports)

They had several demands other than:

1) I had hand made all the declarations, they didn't accept that, had to be PF/RJ forms
2) I needed a certidão negativa of the Receita Federal (which is not on the list)]
3) They required the page of the DOU with my permanence
4) The certidão de divorcio
5) a copy of my current wife's id

Sven, I'm certainly sorry this is happening at your (literal) expense, but I must confess I'm enjoying a rather fiendish sense of delight knowing it's just not us 'ignorant' gringos who get whacked upside the head by Burro-cracia, but even those who have a keen knowledge of the Brasilian legal system.
