Anyone know a good way to blitz ants from the home? I have tried following the little fecks but since i am 3 floors up I lose their trail pretty quick and cant find where they make ground contact. I read that you can blast the nest, kill the queen and they bugger off, but thats not an option. Anyone have any novel ideas on extermination? The apartment cant be any cleaner as i have become obsessed with it in an attempt to get shot of them!

I use a product named Straik "Mata Formigas Doceiras" found in the Super Mercado.Lay in a bead about 1 inch long along the Ant trails and within 3 days they will be gone for at least a month normally.They do eventually return however so I keep a Syringe handy (thats how it is administered). thanks for the info, got the syringe thingy so fingers crossed! Only have 2 weeks left in the apartment anyhow but would prefer to be ant free

The best way to get rid of ants is to get someone to speak rather harshly to them and as they are leaving the premises, trounce them with a baseball bat; tiring but immensely satisfying work
