I'm not sure what time they usually go to as I've only been to one so far (only been here a month) and it was over by 10PM or so (was on a weekday tho). It was fun! I'll be there this Friday. I have the same questions as Douglas...Can someone provide directions via bus? Maybe a bunch of us who live near Savassi can meet up and travel together? There are two good bus routes that go from Barreiro to Centro and vice-versa. Here are my favorite ways of getting to Zezé from Centro:
Bus line 33: 1) Get it on Augusto de Lima #635 and stay on it until it arrives at Estação Barreiro. At the station move on to busline 314 and get off on Rua Pinheiro Chagas, 400. 2) Get it on Rua Gonçalves Dias #2262 or #2700 and stay on it until it arrives at Estação Barreiro. At the station move on to busline 314 and get off on Rua Pinheiro Chagas, 400. Bus line 35: Get it on Avenida Amazonas and Avenida Afonso Pena. Stay on it until it arrives at Estação Barreiro and then get on the 314 bus, getting of on Rua Pinheiro Chagas, 400. |

Thank you for the bus info!
I am interested in carpooling/taxipooling from Savassi to the bar and back...I live in Serra, but can easily walk to Savassi, or get the taxi from here if it is raining. Sir Ryan, I believe you are in, as it was your suggestion. Anyone else? Cheers, Douglas |

You can also acess GOOGLE MAPS, they now also include information on the public transport provided by BH-BUS, here is an example how to get from the PRAÇA DA LIBERDADE to the bar in Barreiro by bus::

A carpool sounds excellent (however, I have no car at the moment), the bus looks easily doable, sharing a cab might not be a bad idea either if others are intrested. Either way, I'm in and I'll see you guys on Friday! |

Yes, me and my fiancee are in and up for sharing a cab with you, Douglas. Pick a spot and time to meet (we've met before at Dalva) and we'll be there. See you Friday. |
