The BdB G-Buster gave me false positives as well.
Agree with Finnish jungle boy about the BdB solution.
Fast and convenient.
Easy to add new computers with a registered cell phone.

Chrome works for BdB (allow Java for domain), Bradesco but not Itau CNPJ.

That's when I can sue them. Com "tutela antecipada" e multa, it'll be a hassle, but I may make some money out of that one.

They might take the quirks out before they roll it out to personalite.

So other than complaining and/or closing my account, what recourse do I have available to me along the lines of "tutela antecipada"?

Is your company a micro empresa? Then you can sue them for a couple of K in juizados especiais as a "consumidor".

If you're a Ltda and not ME, then you can only sue them in civil court. But you'd need a lawyer. It's probably easier to change banks.

It's a Ltda.  No offense Sven, but have had my fill of attorneys for awhile, so forget civil court (and waiting 2-3 years... or more).  Thanks for the clarification of options.

Will probably just dust off the Windoze machine, install the bloody program, and be done with it!  What really irritates me most, is if I happen to be at a friend or relative's house, and want to use their computer to access my account, it will be necessary to install this program on their machine too, even if it's just a one time use.

As far as I know this security feature is not new. I have been required to install it every time I upgrade to a new version of a browser, particularly firefox. This has been going on in my case for the year or two that I have had an Itau account. If you search "g-buster Itau" you'll find references going back a few years.

Prior to that I had a Unibanco account, which was migrated to Itau, and similar software was required. From time to time it has not been available for the latest version of firefox so I have had to switch to IE to bank until the addon is ready for firefox.

This is a giant pain in the butt. I suspect some people may regard this as a new  form of "protection" because they have been asked to reinstall it after browser updates. They may have unwittingly had it installed on previous versions of browsers.
I don't need to be right; I just don't want to be wrong.

If you didn't have so many accounts in banks or on forums. You might not crash your operating system so often and be able to manage your accounts without so much stress. If you are going to ever establish a comfortable opinion of yourself, as you are, then you'll need to build your confidence and not have multiple perosnalities, accounts, or forum personality-accounts!

Best of Luck, my friend! Wink

There, there everything is going to be just fine!..

This is why I've always praised HSBC! You only need to answer your security questions, once, and everytime after you can access your account. From Iphone or a public library, all of my Canadian accounts are the same!

I'd love to meet the person who gave the OK on this program. In all fairness if you access your account from a bunch of computers then it's a hassle. As much as I see its stupidity, I'd have to say that the average person probably only uses a few computers, to access their online accounts...
