I was asked to place all of our bags (6 x 23 kilos for 2 + kid) on the x-ray. They "didn't find" my 8 kilos of cheese, 15 sausages, seeds, peper paste and sauce, all on the "forbidden list", nor did they complain about 2 laptops. X-Ray broken?

Not x ray broken but entirely depends on how many R$ was inside your passport when you showed it to customs officer ... |

this is bullsh*t.
Take nothing and pay nothing. Not worth the crap. I told my wife once, leave all your sh*t here, I don't want hassles. What is this sh*t every one has with owning and buying all the time? boycott them asses and take nothing. That will teach them assh_les at the customs. Stash the money inside your underwear and do not declare. They won't go inside your undies, that is a fact, and the x rays do not pick on the cash inside our undies. You guys don't know this but there is an amount in dollars that you can take to BR without declaring....I know it cause I read somewhere. they want you to declare it because they want to take your money that is all. No decent sum of money fits in your underwear.
Do a google on "preso dinheiro queca" and you'll see that they definitely do check your undies if they want to. |

![]() I think you are envious of my underwear size since yours must fit an elephant ....all that chips and fish can't be good for you![]() |

I don´t get it ! Where´s the problem ???
Because people are stupid and don´t understand what the words "500 US$ for all shoppings abroad" means, they start complaining ! ![]() That´s typical Brazilian, it´s always the fault of the others. Because I´m perfect and I know everything, it´s someone else to blame! NOSSA, I can´t hear it anymore! ![]() Besides, if they don´t agree with the taxes paid, there is still the option for a revision process. They should spend less time with video games, and learn understanding Portugese language! |

When at the check-in counter fila in Miami, you can see many funny things there. Brazilians have way too many bags, boxes, TV's, Microwave owens etc. Then they get into argument with the airline staff about the $125 extra for each extra bag they have... Once ne guy had 6 chairs and a table. garden set, they turned him to a cargo check in
I have a small digital bag scale and I'll always check how many bags I can have with my tickets and how much they weight. To avoid any unnecessary fees etc.
The new DSLR camera is hanging on your shoulder, New latop and tablet in your carry on as your pesonal items, if you neeed to bring in a second laptop to someone who wants to pay their ass off, have it as "your company PC".
New cell phone in your belt case etc.
What was left into the bags: clothes (tags removed), shoes, no expensive looking items W/O their original boxes, tools etc.
Never had any problem in any country with just common sense. I know these brazilians lack it totally. When told they made mistake or they are wrong they get mad as hell. All the yelling starts (puta que pariu, ta caro caralho), and that doesn't lead to anyhwhere.
Then if they get all that stuff to the plane, the next show starts upon arrival to the destination...
