Had the surprise visit of the PF 2 days ago regarding my permanencia due to marriage.

10 days only!!!!!!

Can anybody top that?

The Feds were surprised themselves and told us that it usually takes much longer. We didn't even have any wedding pictures ready but hopefully that won't influence the outcome.

After all the complicated and nonsensical bureaucracy .. 10 days only!!!!

But parabens Sara... I guess the PF want to clear their desks, so they can enjoy Carnaval, and not come back to a pile of burro-cracia....

hahaha, the guy must have liked me. I just ased a few casual questions about how to get a job at the FP .. maybe it was my shirt .. who knows but lets see how long the rest takes and maybe i'll be the first they deny even with a legit marriage

With me and my husband it happened the same. We lived in Rio, and we were going to marry there and then move to Curitiba. But following an advice we married here in Curitiba and it took about 2 weeks for the agents to show up. But I heard tha in São Paulo and Rio it takes forever...
