I just ate "jambo." It's delicious, and it tastes a bit as if you were smelling a rose.

That's Don Vito... as in Don Vito Corleone... lol If you talk nice, and give me your e-mail address, I'll send it all to you. I can't decide what I want to get first though. It's either gonna be a churrasqueira(grill) or a deep fryer. I had a friend send me this online cookbook, that has about 400 recipes in it for many, many things that you can make at home, for restaurants in the States.(go to page 3 of this thread) One of the recipes it has, of all things, is for Miracle Whip. I know, ya either love it or hate it...

DonVito, you got me there! All my mom ever put in the flour was garlic salt and pepper, and I can't make it with the extra crispy skin that you can get at KFC, true.

Still, when I've cooked up a batch for friends or family, they don't seem to mind.

That's alright. I like the regular and the extra crispy. I'd probably have liked your mom's chicken too. Truth is, I never met a chicken I didn't like. I also have stuff from Cracker Barrel, like their hash brown casserole, bread pudding, and chocolate-cherry cobbler. I have to believe that that last one would go over fairly well down here too.
