Wow.. you're loaded! How about posting some of your companies' websites to see?

I know that stare. It's the same one I get when I motion with my hand for a pedestrian to cross the street in front of my car. Smile

They probably think that you are positioning them for a direct hit

My thinking exactly. Of course, the fact that I am revving my engine at the same time could be a dead giveway. Smile

Bob, don't tell me you've never read The 4-Hour Work Week?!  One of the biggest light bulb moments for me in that book was to never hesitate to fire a client or customer.  You know, they ones that take up lots of your time with their complaining, maybe need lots of hand holding, special treatment, yet contribute very little to your bottom line.  One of the sweetest moments was one SOB who was always late paying and always complaining.  I had already decided the new year would start without him, but I waited until the Christmas holidays, when everyone is busy and no one can squeeze in someone else to their schedules....  Evil%20Smile

I might bark, but I don't bite.

Nope, actually I have never read that book. But I have also given 2 refunds no question asked (which I mentioned yesterday somewhere here). In one of the cases, the guy actually got made at me because I wouldn't stroke his military ego and give in to his demands. I worked too hard chasing unprofitable business in America, so I sure as heck won't do that here.

I was actually making a comment on you having more than 1 business. Hence, the request to see your company websites because gringo-operated businesses are somewhat of the exception in Brazil.

Sorry, request denied.  Big Brother (not BBB) might be snooping....

I swear I saw a black Suburban drive down my street the other day!  If they question me, I'm just gonna tell them everything I know, Boris told me!  LOL

@gringodude Since this is a thread about leaving and I am inclined to digress, having you been following this "Luíza está no Canadá" thing? Brasil discovers Canada--albeit in a very strange way.

Well, if you are doing nothing wrong, I don't see what you are so paranoid about. If anything, it could be even more marketching for you.
