Gringoes.com: "Thanksgiving" meetup

   Taking advantage of the cold weather, our current potluck is "North American Thanksgiving".

July 30, 6pm, Curitiba.

This is a *homesick gringo* meetup, not an english-practice session.  If you are a homesick gringo in Curitiba, and can appreciate some real gravy and mash, you're welcome.  Please PM me or email me at tracy dot miyake at gmail dot com to RSVP and so we can coordinate who's bringing what.

We are requesting everyone bring a plate of their family's typical Thanksgiving fare.  Please no doritos or coxinhas, several of us are putting a lot of effort into getting this "just like home".  If you don't know what to bring, talk to me.

	I really wish we could have made it... we live in a village with the only airport being a teeny one private owned airline which is outrageously expensive so maybe and hopefully we'll be able to make a potluck at some point. Hope you guys have fun I am really sad I couldn't make pies with you and bring my special frozen cranberry salad! :(

	i have cranberry jelly in my fridge at this very moment- made it out of juice, it's not EXACTLY right but it's damn close. And we made stuffing to stuff the vegan roast with and it was SO nice to have that smell in my kitchen again.... and two pumpkin pies cooling on the stove right now..... i tell you, when you DO come down here, it will be a hellova party! Plan now!!
