Our travel plans are quoshed for a while as I'm completely skint, although we're still hoping to get to the North East some time.

Yep, I'm in São Paulo city, although I've not seen any problems here directly.

Rc from Texas, yes, that got a little heated, i actually talked to him on the phone and he decided i was a nice guy afterwards.

R u in Brazil, if so what do you do and how long have you been there?

Im sure i will hear more about my posts on this subject soon, some people are just to serious on here, its supposed to be a bit of fun and a place to state your opinion whilst gaining valuable knowledge........

Couldn't agree with you more! Oh well, guess I am in the minority when it comes to humor and a couple of witty remarks. Quite sad so many posters in here are suffering from a classic case of anal-retentiveness.

I'm Brazilian, lived in SP most of my life, some years in MG, some months in the US.

I have some probs in defining myself as a professional. I've done many things, still doing different ones, and I feel I have many professions & none at the same time. I've been a vet surgeon, I've done some translation for friends, nowadays I work in an office (part-time), teach English (a bit), and I'm a certified tour guide (free-lancer, sporadic jobs).
