I've now had my visa approved and published. I went to the PF to arrange an interview to get my RNE but was sent back and told to do it all online. I went to the website https://servicos.dpf.gov.br/sincreWeb/ to fill out the form but when I click on the dropdown menu to select an interview date the list is empty! Has anyone else had this problem?
How long does it take to get the RNE once the visa has been published? Is it possible to work (legally) while waiting for the RNE? Thanks. |

I was told it would take about 3 months to come but it came in about 1 month. I got my work permit before getting my RNE by going to the PF who wrote a letter stating I was awaiting residency and that got me what I needed - still need to update my work permit with my new residency info......

Hi guys..
So I picked up the document confirming that the Judge recognized our Stable Union...I was expecting some kind of formal certificate, but all I got was a certified copy. The Lawyer told me that the judge stays with the original, is that correct? |

No certificate. Stable union is a "união de fato", unlike a marriage which is a "união de direito". All you get is a judgement. |

Yeah! No fancy certificate. Just a formal memo. That's it! Be happy. Make authenticated copies for yourself and send it in.

I've had my visa approved too. I went online to arrange the interview to get my RNE was given an appointment of February 2012! With a letter from my employer, and a long wait at the PF, I managed to get it rescheduled for two weeks' time. Does anyone know what happens at this interview? Is it just a formality - fingerprints, document check etc?

^^It's not an interview.
You go there to apply for your brazzer id card. So you present a bunch of docs and all fingers you have left for printing. A few months later you pick up the id card. |
