Gringoes.com: Visa

   ah ok. I entered on 13/02/2010 and left on 17/07/2010 and will arrive back on the 7th january 2011....so i hope i will be ok.  Reading this forum makes me so worried...everyone seesm to have contrasting stories!

	I have returned to Brazil on my new passport (renewed because it was nearly out of date) the pf in sao paulo did not ask if I was here before and did not say how many days I had left, she just stamped it.

	Did you receive a new tourist visa, or did you show the one from the old passport? I used all my 180 days in the 1 year period, and have returned and renewed my passport as well. I'm wondering if I can get a new tourist visa and come back in.

	Hi jheathco, no I did not show them the visa stamp in the old passport, i just handed over my new one when i was going in and they just stamped it and said nothing. I left brazil July 2011, between Jan and july 2011 I never went to renew that visa and when I was leaving I just got an exit stamp and they never gave me one for over staying and never said anything to me about it.
